The Association
The Music Parents Association serves both the vocal and instrumental ensembles at NVOT. It provides performance trip chaperones, assists with uniform issues and returns, assists with special rehearsal and performance needs, raises funds to provide scholarships and senior recognition awards each June. Parents and guardians of Music Department students are encouraged to participate in the activities of the Music Parents. Friends, relatives, and alumni can also join as Associate Members.
Membership
Click here to download the Letter of Welcome to Parents and a Membership Form. Membership dues help offset our annual operating expenses. Sponsorship through membership is $25.00 per year for Family Membership and $10.00 per year for Associate Membership.
Fund-raising
Currently, we are running several different fund-raising campaigns. Click on the links below to order items in the:
- Fall Clothing Sale (orders due November 14)
- Poinsettia Sale (forms have 2 forms per sheet -- share one with a friend!)
- CD Order Form (6-CD set of all of our 2008-2009 concerts, professionally recorded)
Meeting dates
General meetings for 2008-2009:
- January 29, 8:00 pm (Choir Room) - Snow date is February 5.
- March 11, 8:00 pm (Auditorium) - MANDATORY for all those participating on the Upperclass overnight Festival trip
- June 2 - during the Awards Concert

You can volunteer via a Membership Form. We are eager to involve new and returning parents in our activities, and we need your help! If you are interested in helping out on one of our committees, please download and return the form. Some activities require very little time, so please get involved!
